These terms cover the ScreenTabs Chrome extension and this website. By using either one, you agree to this page.
What ScreenTabs is
ScreenTabs is software that helps you snap and restore Chrome windows across the monitors Chrome can see. It is not a desktop operating system, a virtual display driver, or a launcher for other Windows applications.
License to use
You may load and use ScreenTabs for personal or internal business use on machines you control. These terms grant use of the built extension and this site, not a right to rebrand or resell ScreenTabs as your own product.
Accounts and Pro
The extension does not need an account. Saved workspaces live on the device. If you remove the extension or clear Chrome extension storage, those workspace saves are gone. If you sign in, layouts and settings can be restored from that account.
A website account is optional and is used to buy Pro. Stripe processes the payment. Pro is recorded in Firestore after Stripe confirms successful payment. Test payments use Stripe test mode until a live price replaces the test link.
Chrome and third parties
Chrome, the Chrome Web Store, and sites you open in tabs have their own terms. Video sites can block or limit fullscreen, theater, or Picture-in-Picture. ScreenTabs cannot override those rules.
Acceptable use
Do not use ScreenTabs to break the law, interfere with other people’s browsers, or bypass site security. Do not present the extension as a way to capture other users’ tabs or credentials.
Disclaimer
ScreenTabs is provided as is. Monitor bounds, mixed DPI, restricted pages such as
chrome://, and Chrome API limits can make a snap or restore miss. There is no
warranty of fitness for a particular desk setup.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the ScreenTabs authors are not liable for lost windows, lost workspaces, or other damages that come from using the extension or this site.
This website
Screenshots on this site show the manager UI with sample titles, not your browsing history. The public copies for store listings are this site’s Privacy and Terms pages.
Changes
These terms can change when the product changes. The date at the top is the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the new page.
